When you are unable to celebrate Mass in Church, you may wish to make this act of spiritual communion:
Lord Jesus, I believe that you are present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love you above all things and I desire to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. I embrace you as if you were already there and unite myself wholly to you. Never permit me to be separated from you. Amen

The Annual Blessed John Ingram Walk
The Walk will take place on Sunday 28th July, 2024 and will be led by Fr. Luke Wilkinson. If you wish to join the Walk please meet at St Andrew’s Anglican Church, Newgate Street, Newcastle at 2.30pm. The Walk ends at St Edmund’s Chapel, High Street, Gateshead with an Ecumenical Service followed by refreshments. Non walkers are invited to gather at St Edmund’s at 3.30pm.
This wonderful walk of witness is organised by the SVP with the help of clergy and parishioners of St Andrew’s and St Edmund’s. We encourage parishioners of the John Ingram Partnership to come along and find out more about our local history, and about the namesake of our partnership.

Safeguarding
The Parish operates in accordance with Statutory Safeguarding Guidance and the Catholic Safeguarding Standards Agency (CSSA) and Diocesan policies and procedures at all times. Each of our churches has a Parish Safeguarding Representative indicated on the Safeguarding posters displayed in each church.
